Dr. Gerrit Heetderks attended Hope College in Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry and Chemistry. He then continued his education at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Heetderks completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Heetderks enjoys his work at Trumansburg Family Medicine with a passion for preventive care and lifestyle modification for the prevention and reversal of chronic disease processes. In his free time, you'll often find him hiking, biking, swimming and otherwise exploring our beautiful region with his family.
