Dr. Michelle Blegen grew up in Rochester, NY and fell in love with Ithaca and Trumansburg during her years at Cornell. Dr. Blegen graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Society. Dr. Blegen continued her education at Albany Medical College and graduated in 1997.  She then went on to train in Family Medicine at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency in Fairfax, Virginia before moving back home to the Ithaca area. She has loved working at Trumansburg Family Medicine since 2001. She enjoys treating people of all ages and needs, with special interests in preventive medicine and pediatric care. When not working, Dr. Blegen likes to hike, ski and spend time with family.
